Membership of the BCRP costs just £9.50 per week [payable monthly, quarterly or annually] and provides your business with an essential tool kit to add to your own crime prevention efforts.

A free digital radio handset is supplied as part of BCRP membership to link you to other businesses in the area, the Business Improvment District [BID] ambassadors [if your premises in in the BID area], Sussex Police officers on the ground and an indirect link to police CCTV.

A password protected website is also accessible via a mobile app providing accurate intelligence, alerts and up to date images of all known offenders subject to exclusions [see below] and Criminal Behaviour Orders.

Exclusion Notice Scheme

The BCRP operates an Excusion Notice Scheme which bans prolific offenders from entering BCRP member's premises. Breach of the Exclusion Notice can lead to an application for a Criminal Behaviour Order [CBO]. Breach of a CBO is a criminal offence which can lead to a custodial sentence.

The BCRP holds regular intelligence meetings for businesses operating in both daytime and night-time economies creating a forum for members to get the latest offender intelligence, crime alerts and BCRP updates.

Friday night security briefings

The BCRP co-hosts the Friday night security briefing for door supervisors alongside Sussex Police where we share details of the latest offender images, intelligence gathered during the previous week and police resources for the weekend ahead. The briefings are held every Friday night between 21:30 and 22:30.
