Search for gunman continues

Three days after shots were fired in a residential street a gunman remains at large

Armed police were called to East Drive opposite Queen's Park in Brighton on the night of 04 August after residents reported gunfire. Shortly after shotgun cases were found discarded over the road.

On 05 August armed officers raided on an address in Moulsecoomb but the offender evaded capture and has still not been arrested.

Police have not issued the gunman's name or a description of him and insist the public are not at risk. Anyone with information, or who saw or heard anything, is asked to contact the force on 999 or online quoting serial 1712 of 04/08.
