Firearms surrender yields 112 weapons

A campaign organised by the National Ballistics Intelligence Service which ran from 20 July to 04 August saw a total of 112 firearms and 49 cases of ammunition handed into Sussex police stations.

The list of guns recovered by Sussex Police consisted of  29 shotguns, 33 air pistols, 16 air rifles, five BB guns, nine blank firing guns, two deactivated guns, five imitation guns, one stun gun, four pistols,  four revolvers and four rifles.
