Stabbing in the North Laine

An 18-year-old man was stabbed in Trafalgar Street on Tuesday evening just before 19:00. He suffered three stab wounds to his arm, shoulder and back.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment and is currently in a serious condition which is not thought to be life-threatening. Two boys aged 15 and 16 were arrested at an address nearby on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and are currently being held in custody.
