21 year old jailed for 10 years for stabbing incident
Portslade resident Tyler Hallett has been jailed for 10 years with the judge instructing that he must serve at least two thirds of his sentence after he repeatedly stabbed his girlfriend's new lover.
Despite CCTV evidence showing the attack which took place on scaffolding where the victim was working in September 2017, Hallett initially refused to cooperate with Sussex Police and denied he was the attacker right up to his appearance in court.
He later changed his plea to guilty. His victim suffered a punctured lung but survived the attack.
