A teenager has been arrested after a collision in Brighton which left a nine-year-old boy seriously injured.
Logan Dore, 9 years old, was riding a scooter in Whitehawk Road at around 12.15 on Sunday 16 September when a moped collided into him. He was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious head injuries. A police investigation was immediately launched as the moped had failed to stop at the scene.
CCTV was released to the media to try and locate the individual responsible.
A 16-year-old boy handed himself in to Brighton police on Wednesday September 19. He was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Logan has since been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.
