Brighton rapist jailed

Mahad Hussein – 22 years of age - was caught on CCTV on 15 January pulling his victim into an alley beside Café Coho in Ship Street, Brighton where he raped her.  

After being found guilty of two counts of rape, Judge David Rennie today sentenced him to 13 years in prison.

The judge said: “Were it not for the CCTV camera you would almost certainly have got away with this brutal rape ordeal Scott-free.
