Hove robbery

Sussex Police were called to Connaught Leisure in George Street, Hove, at 15:20 on Tuesday 14 January to attend a robbery by a man in possession of a knife.

The suspect had entered the venue and demanded cash. He then ran off towards Church Road. Armed police later arrived to surround a bus and the offender was arrested.

James Creaghan, 29 years old, was charged with robbery and possessing a knife. He will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 17 January.
