Suliaman Bah sentenced to three years

The 25 year old was successfully prosecuted for possession of a knife and both Class A and Class B drugs with intent to supply. He was stopped by plain-clothed police officers at The Level in Brighton late last year.

Bah resisted when officers attempted to arrest him but a later search found him in possession of a kitchen knife, a bag containing 30-40 wraps of crack and heroin, a large bag of cannabis, £370 in cash and two pay-as-you-go phones which are often used as ‘burners’ by drug dealers.

Bah admitted that the cannabis was his but pretended he had never seen the other items before because he was wearing track-suit bottoms that did not belong to him.

Bah was found guilty of all seven charges and sentenced to three years in jail.
