Dozens of fines for Covidiots

Sussex Police issued 66 fines to people flouting Tier 4 Covid restrictions on New Year's Eve in Brighton

The fixed penalty notices were given between 18:00 on New Year’s Eve and 03:00 on New Year’s Day. They were issued for a wide variety of reasons including outdoor gatherings of groups in public spaces, private parties and people travelling from outside the area into a Tier 4 area.
