Partnership working result

Some fantastic partnership working involving Sussex Police, the BCRP and the Brilliant Brighton BID Ambassadors has achieved a great result.

Sussex Police's contact centre made BCRP staff aware of a violent offender wanted on recall to prison, who was thought to be travelling on public transport towards the central Brighton area.

Divisional officers shared the offender’s image and the BCRP posted it to their secure messaging system. Within an hour of the ambassadors receiving the image they identified the offender, contacted the police and kept her under observation.  She was swiftly arrested fifteen minutes later.
