Stabbing in Brighton city centre

Officers were called to the incident where a 33 year old man was stabbed with a screwdriver in North Place next to Brighton Library at 22:30 on Tuesday, 14 June.

A man was found with a leg wound at the scene and was taken to hospital for treatment. The screwdriver was retrieved at the scene.

Witnesses claim the man was stabbed with a “screwdriver and glass”.

Sussex Police enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with any information is urged to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 1557 of 14/06.
