Criminal damage and trespass cost man £1000

A man who caused criminal damage whilst trespassing in Burger King has been ordered to pay £1,000 in compensation.

Paul Potter, 29, trespassed in the Brighton North Street branch of the late-night restaurant and caused a significant amount of damage to the till area .

Potter admitted the offences of trespassing and criminal damage at Brighton Magistrate Court. The magistrate ordered him to pay the costs of the damage to the victim and complete a six months alcohol treatment course.

He was further ordered to complete ten rehabilitation sessions and a curfew for three months from 19:00 to 07:00.
