Muhammad Ahmed jailed for eight burglaries

The 35 year old man from Hove was sentenced at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 18 September  after admitting eight charges of burglary, possession of cocaine and breaching a conditional discharge for shoplifting.

Ahmed broke into various shops, cafes, restaurants and businesses in Hove including Flowers Unlimited, Billies Cafe, Harrisons of Hove, the Artista Studio, Le Nantais Bisto, Viksi Salon, the Art Shop and Pottery and Cafe Ninety.

He stole cash, bottles of alcohol, electronic devices and other property from the businesses he broke into as well as damaging their doors and windows to gain access.
