Ryan Breach sent to prison

The 30 year old was found in Surrey Street in Brighton on 27 December in breach of a criminal behaviour order [CBO] preventing him from entering the city centre [see earlier story].

When challenged he attacked PC Chapman, by beating her and was jailed for a total of
20 weeks and ordered to pay £85 in compensation and a £37 surcharge.
