Attempted murder in city centre
A 19 year old teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a city centre fight.
The woman was arrested by officers investigating an incident that happened in Rock Place on Monday.
Police believe three people were involved in the fight and the firearm was discharged during shortly after 11:50. The potential victim, who did not suffer any injuries.
The police later reported that a teenage woman had been arrested at an address in central Brighton and had been bailed "subject to strict conditions" while enquiries continue.
The man who was allegedly involved is described as white, in his mid-late 20s, with short mousey brown hair and wearing dark blue jeans and a black puffer jacket.
The other woman allegedly involved is described as being late teens or early 20s, of slim build, with long blonde hair and wearing a red coat with a fur trim around the hood.
