Stabbing at The Level

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed at The Level yesterday.

Police were called to the park yesterday just before 16.15. The area was cordoned off and police remained on site well into the evening. Forensics teams collected evidence and took photos of clothes on the floor.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm [GBH] with intent and has been released on conditional bail until 18 November.
