Brighton BCRP Achieves Highest National Accreditation for Community Safety

The Brighton Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) has been awarded a prestigious national accreditation by the National Association of Business Crime Partnership’s and Police CPI, achieving the highest possible rating of “Exceeding”, a recognition reserved for partnerships that go above and beyond in preventing crime and protecting communities.

This top-tier rating confirms that Brighton BCRP is not only meeting national standards, but setting them. It reflects a partnership that is compliant, innovative, and delivering real, measurable impact across the city.

At the heart of this achievement is a strong, collaborative approach. BCRP works closely with local businesses, Sussex Police, and community partners to tackle issues such as business crime, anti-social behaviour, and vulnerability, supporting both Brighton’s daytime and night-time economy.
